Keanu Reeves is seen below in his underwear in a
scene (not) from
the DAY THE EARTH STOOD STILL.
They provided no press shots so, i had to include something of the stars...
this was him when he was still playig comedy’s,
now on 2 the movie.
THANX TO MY GOOD FRIEND who let us catch an early IMAX screening of this film
i can fill you in. I thought it was done really well. Keanu was type cast (as was everyone else including Will Smith’s son and every G.I.) The surprise is Kathy Bates. Love some Kathy and she plays a real BIATCH in this one. If you’re looking for non stop action and destruction you will be disappointed. If your looking for a great looking, great story with a VERY TIMELY MESSAGE, look no further. C it in IMAX, (really big Aliens)

Actor Will Smith talked to JoBlo recently while promoting Seven Pounds and told them that a sequel to his superhero movie Hancock will "definitely" be happening. When asked if he would play more superheroes in the future, Smith told them that "there were a lot of unexplored characters in the Hancock universe that would be ripe for a sequel and confirmed that we'll definitely see the rumored Hancock 2 in a few years." Hancock, which was released on the week of July 4th earlier this summer, earned a respectable $228 million at the box office. Enough to warrant a sequel, no question, but is another one really necessary?
YES!...this movie was a great twist on the superhero played out BS we been seeing, really spiderman a big Sand Man pounding buildings? I will take the much more believable plot in this one much less the amazing pre-quels they could make (thousands of years) and the mystery of the babies mother DYING WHILE GIVING BIRTH seems a bit odd for dinner conversation....hmmmmm, anyways u can poo poo this movie if u want, next time u earn 228 Million, u do that ....lol

start with Newman’s Classic...
• CAT ON A HOT TIN ROOF ESSENTIAL (1958)
If you cut the repressed homosexuality from a play that's all about repressed homosexuality, is anything left? Surprisingly, yes. The Production Code forced writer-director Richard Brooks to omit the real reason that Brick, the hobbled hero of Tennessee Williams' 1955 play, drinks all day and won't touch his hungry, hot wife. But Newman, staring into his highball glass with sorrow and terror, solves the problem simply by playing Brick as if the inner truth is still the same; he's matched by Elizabeth Taylor at her near-best. This textbook example of how star voltage can electrify compromised material brought Newman his first of nine Oscar nominations for acting, and vaulted him to the status of an idol. ''I think you've even gotten better-looking since you went on the bottle,'' Taylor's Maggie the Cat insists. Looking at her newly trim costar, it's hard to disagree.

SUNDAY FEBRUARY 24 MILLIONS OF PEOPLE WILL GATHER to watch the 80th annual Academy Awards Show. Still, fun to watch the famous squirm in their seats waiting uncomfortably for the winner is....NONE OF THESE....Atonement,ok. JUNO heartwarming, but best picture?? MICAHAEL CLAYTON, great picture, not BEST picture. NO COUNTRY FOR OLD MEN, mildly entertaining, totally fucked up story and an ending no one understands except for the old men voting apparently. THERE WILL BE BLOOD, perhaps for best Actor, NOT best picture.
